The 2022 revised curriculum proposes that artificial intelligence technology be integrated and taught in all subjects in elementary education from 2025, and in fact, the preparation process for this is active in schools. In particular, in 2023, the burden on elementary school teachers for artificial intelligence education is increasing due to the spread of generative AI tools starting with ChatGPT. In this study, we selected 20 tools suitable for use in elementary school environments from numerous generative AI tools through a process of examining various reports and literature and directly using them, and presented the characteristics and problems of each. It is expected that the results of this study will be used as reference material for teachers who wish to utilize generative AI tools in elementary education.

2022년 개정교육과정에서는 인공지능기술을 2025년부터 초등교육 현장에서 모든 과목에서 융합하여 수업하 도록 제시하였으며 실제로 일선 학교에서는 이를 위한 준비과정이 활발하다. 특히 2023년에는 ChatGPT로 시작 되는 생성형 인공지능 도구의 확산으로 초등교사의 인공지능교육에 대한 부담은 더욱 가중되고 있다. 본 연구에 서는 수많은 생성형 인공지능 도구에서 초등 환경에 사용이 적합한 도구를 여러 보고서와 문헌을 조사하고 직접 사용해보는 과정을 통해 20개를 선정하고 각각의 특징과 문제점을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구 결과는 초등교육에 서 생성형 AI 도구를 활용하고자 하는 교사에게 참고자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.
