As the role of software (SW) technology becomes crucial in driving societal change, there is an emphasis on SW education. The SW Mirae-chaeum Project has established 13 centers nationwide to address digital disparities among marginalized populations through SW education. In this study, in-depth interviews were conducted with operators and instructors working at SW Mirae-chaeum Centers to identify issues and propose solutions. According to the in-depth interview results, operators raised concerns about a shortage of instructor personnel, inadequate equipment and facilities, and a lack of programs for students with disabilities. Instructors pointed out issues such as a lack of training that balances theoretical and practical aspects of SW education, insufficient training tailored to instructor levels, and a lack of incentives for outstanding instructors. Additionally, instructors suggested providing the SW Mirae-chaeum Project guidebook in digital format for frequent updates and emphasized the need for developing education programs tailored to the characteristics of each region.

SW 기술이 미래 사회의 변화에 핵심적인 역할을 함에 따라 SW 교육이 강조되고 있다. SW미래채움사업은 SW 교육을 통해 소외계층의 디지털 격차를 해소하기 위해 전국 13개 센터를 구축하였다. 본 연구에서는 SW미 래채움센터에서 근무하는 운영자와 강사를 중심으로 심층 인터뷰를 실시하여 문제점과 개선 방안을 마련하였다. 심층 인터뷰 결과, 운영자들은 강사 인력 부족, 기자재 및 환경 미비, 특수교육을 위한 프로그램 부족 등의 문제 를 제기하였고, 강사들은 SW 교육에 대한 이론과 실무 중심의 연수 부족, 강사 수준에 맞는 연수 부족, 우수 강 사에 대한 인센티브 부족 등의 문제를 제기하였다. 아울러, SW미래채움사업 가이드북을 수시로 개정할 수 있도 록 디지털 문서로 제공하고, 지역 특성에 맞는 교육 프로그램 개발이 필요하다는 의견을 제시하였다.
