The Ministry of Education plans to initiate the development of AI digital textbooks for mathematics, English, and informatics subjects starting in 2025. Additionally, there are plans to introduce a digital textbook for the Korean language in 2026. However, according to the search results from the Research Information Sharing Service (RISS), there is a noticeable dearth of research on digital textbooks for the Korean language. Nevertheless, there is a growing interest in grammar education utilizing generative AI, such as ChatGPT, in recent times. The characteristics of grammar education can be classified into normativity, descriptivity, productivity, uniformity, and conciseness. Consequently, in this study, proposed functionalities for an AI digital textbook for Korean language grammar education take into account these five aspects. To enhance the effectiveness of grammar education, it is recommended to integrate these functionalities with traditional grammar education methods. Furthermore, delayed feedback emphasizing fluency over accuracy in language usage is considered essential.

교육부는 2025년부터 수학, 영어, 정보 교과의 AI 디지털교과서를 개발하고, 2026년에는 국어 디지털교과서 를 개발할 계획이지만, 학술연구정보서비스(RISS)의 검색 결과에 따르면 국어과 디지털교과서에 대한 연구가 많 이 부족한 편이다. 그러나 최근 ChatGPT와 같은 생성형 AI를 활용한 문법 교육에 대한 관심이 높아가고 있다. 따라서 향후 개발된 국어과 디지털교과서의 기능 중에서 문법 교육과 관련된 기능을 도출하기 위해 선행 연구 자료를 분석하였다. 문법 교육의 특성은 규범성, 기술성, 생산성, 통일성, 간결성 등 5가지로 정리할 수 있으므 로, 본 연구에서도 국어과 문법 교육을 위한 AI 디지털교과서의 기능을 이러한 5가지 측면을 고려하여 제안하였 다. 이러한 기능이 구현되어 문법 교육의 효과를 높이려면 전통적인 문법 교육과 병행하고, 언어 사용의 정확성 보다는 유창성에 초점을 둔 지연된 피드백이 필요하다.
