With the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, discussions on how to use artificial intelligence technology are actively taking place in many fields, and various studies are being conducted for artificial intelligence education in the field of education. This study focused on the importance and educational potential of open source and explored the possibility of educational use of the rapidly growing Hugging Face in the machine learning field among open source platforms. In detail, the core structure and main functions of the hugging face were analyzed, and based on this, a framework for artificial intelligence (AI) programming education was proposed. Through an open-source platform that can easily utilize AI models and datasets in the programming process and easily share results with users around the world, learners can have the opportunity to communicate with real-world experts and researchers, and this experience is expected to be a very meaningful activity for learners.

인공지능(AI) 기술의 발전에 따라 많은 분야에서 인공지능 기술의 활용 방안에 대한 논의가 활발하게 일어나 고 있으며, 교육 분야에서도 인공지능 교육을 위한 다양한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구는 오픈소스의 중요 성과 교육적 잠재력에 주목하고, 오픈소스 플랫폼 중 머신러닝 분야에서 빠르게 성장하고 있는 허깅페이스 (Hugging Face)의 교육적 활용 가능성을 탐색하였다. 세부적으로 허깅페이스의 핵심 구조와 주요 기능을 분석 하고, 이를 바탕으로 인공지능(AI) 프로그래밍 교육을 위한 프레임워크를 제안하였다. 프로그래밍 과정에서 AI 모델 및 데이터셋을 쉽게 활용할 수 있고, 전 세계 사용자와 소통할 수 있는 오픈소스 플랫폼을 통해 학습자들 은 실제 현업 전문가, 연구자와 소통할 수 있는 기회를 가질 수 있으며 이러한 경험은 학습자들에게 매우 유의 미한 활동이 될 것으로 기대된다.
