[Purpose] The purpose of this study was to establish a theoretical foundation for the influence of achievement goal orientation on competitive trait anxiety and to develop effective coaching strategies based on the findings to help reduce competitive anxiety and ultimately enhance athletic performance. [Method] A total of 318 collegiate golfers participated in the study by responding to questionnaires measuring achievement goal orientation and competitive trait anxiety. Using SPSS 24.0, group differences, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted to examine the impact of achievement goal orientation on competitive trait anxiet [Result] The results showed some differences in achievement goal orientation and competitive trait anxiety depending on the participants' demographic characteristics. Notably, ego-oriented achievement goals had a direct effect on competitive trait anxiety. [Conclusion] The study provided insights into the relational characteristics between achievement goal orientation and competitive trait anxiety among collegiate golfers. These findings are expected to offer empirical information that can be applied in the field to support evidence-based coaching practices.

[목적] 성취목표성향이 경쟁특성불안에 미치는 영향에 대해 이론적 근거를 마련하고 도출된 결과를 통해 경쟁불안을 감소할 수 있는 효율적인 지도전략을 수립하여 선수들의 경기력 향상에 기여하는 데 목적이 있다. [방법] 성취목표성 향, 경쟁특성불안에 관한 설문지로 318명을 대상으로 실시하여 SPSS 24.0을 활용한 각 변인간의 차이, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 통해 성취목표성향이 경쟁특성불안에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. [결과] 대학골프선수들의 인구통계 학적 특성요인에 따른 성취목표성향과 경쟁특성불안에 다소 차이가 있었으며, 자아성취목표는 경쟁특성불안에 직접 적 요인을 미쳤다. [결론] 대학골프선수의 성취목표성향과 경쟁특성불안의 관계적 특성을 이해할 수 있었으며 현장 에서 적용을 통해서 실증적인 정보를 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
