[Purpose] The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for summer vacationers to prepare a safe environment by verifying the effect of congestion and risk perception on the intention to use marine leisure sports participants. [Method] To this end, a survey of 300 marine leisure sports participants who visited three major beaches across the country for a month in July 2024 to enjoy water play for the summer vacation was conducted and statistical analysis showed the following results. [Results] First, it was found that congestion perception of marine leisure sports participants had a positive effect on risk perception. Second, it was found that congestion perception of marine leisure sports participants had a negative effect on the intention to use it. Third, it was found that the risk perception of participants in marine leisure sports negatively affects the intention to use it. [Conclusion] In light of the results of this study, local governments that own summer resorts with marine leisure sports facilities such as beaches, where many vacationers flock during the holiday season, will need to build infrastructure to prevent safety accidents.

[목적] 해양레저스포츠 참여자의 혼잡지각과 위험지각이 이용의도에 미치는 영향을 검증하여 여름철 피서객의 안전 한 환경마련을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 목적을 두고 연구를 진행하였다. [방법] 이를 위해 2024년 7월 한달 간 전국의 주요 해수욕장 3개소를 방문하여 여름철 휴가를 맞이하여 물놀이를 즐기기 위해 해수욕장을 방문한 해양 레저스포츠 참여자 300명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 통계분석한 결과 다음의 결과를 얻었다. [결과] 첫째, 해 양레저스포츠 참여자의 혼잡지각은 위험지각에 정적영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 해양레저스포츠 참여자의 혼잡지각은 이용의도에 부적영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 해양레저스포츠 참여자의 위험지각은 이용의도에 부적영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. [결론] 이 연구의 결과를 비추어볼 때 휴가철 피서객들이 많이 몰리는 해수욕장 등의 해양레저스포츠시설을 겸비하고 있는 피서지를 소유한 지자체에서는 방문하는 피서객들의 안전사고가 발생하 지 않도록 인프라를 구축하고 안전대책에 대한 내용을 공표하여 이용객들이 안전함을 인지할 수 있도록 하는 등의 방안의 보완이 필요할 것이다.
