Artificial intelligence (AI) has come to exist everywhere around us by accelerating the development of machine learning algorithms and speech and facial recognition technologies used in everyday life. AI will significantly change the primary and secondary education system, teaching and learning methods in school classrooms. Since AI is an essential tool for future careers for all students living in the digital age, only teachers who can accurately understand AI and understand and utilize enhanced technology will remain in schools. In his paper, we discusses the AI education curriculum for in-service teachers. The researcher recognized the importance of contextualizing the AI learning experiences of in-service teachers while operating the Graduate School of AI Convergence Education. In this study, we describe the ideas to improve the understanding and awareness of AI literacy based on experiences gained during teaching ‘AI Education and Understanding’ subjects for 3 years at the AI Convergence Education Graduate School from 2020.

인공지능(AI)은 기계학습 알고리즘과 일상생활에서 사용되는 음성 및 얼굴 인식 기술 등의 발전 가속화에 의 해 우리 주변 어디에나 존재하게 되었다. AI는 초중등 교육 시스템, 학교 교실의 교수․학습 방법 및 교사 와 학생간의 역할을 크게 바꾸어 놓을 것이다. AI는 디지털 시대를 살아가는 모든 학생에게는 미래 직업을 위해 필수적 도구이기 때문에, 앞으로 AI를 정확하게 알고, 강화된 기술을 이해하고 활용할 수 있는 교사만이 학교에 남게 될 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 현직 교사들을 위한 AI 교육 내용을 논의하고자 한다. 연구자는 AI융합 교육대학원을 운영하면서 현직 교사들의 AI 학습 경험을 맥락화하는 것이 중요하다는 것을 인지하였다. 본 연구 에서는2020년부터 AI융합교육대학원을 운영하면서 3년 동안 ‘AI교육과 이해“ 과목을 가르치면서 체득한 경험을 바탕으로 교사들의 AI 리터러시에 대한 이해와 인식을 향상시키기 위한 아이디어를 기술하였다.
