The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of the intention to stay based on the grit and job involvement of nurses of the MZ generation in general hospitals. Methods: The data collection period for this study was from August to November 2024. Data was collected from a total of 191 MZ generation nurses who have worked for more than 6 months at a general hospital. The subjects were 191 nurses who understood the purpose of this study and agreed to participate in it. Results: There was a significant positive correlation between the participants' level of grit with job involvement (r=.724, p<.001) and the intention to stay (r=.588, p<.001). As a result of analyzing the factors affecting the intention to stay of MZ generation nurses, the level of grit (β=.242, p=.002) and job involvement (β=.472, p<.001) were found to have an effect, and the overall explanatory power was 45.2%. Conclusion: This study confirmed that to enhance the grit of MZ generation nurses, it is essential to implement measures that increase job involvement and the intention to stay, as these factors ensure compliance with organizational goals and retention within the organization.
