As the world's population ages, expectations and concerns about the well-being of older adults are beginning to increase. This study analyzed the factors influencing subjective happiness by life cycle using the raw data of the 3rd Korean Happiness Survey. The factors influencing the subjective happiness of the early elderly are life satisfaction (β=.71, p<.001), emotion (β=.14, p<.001), and among the general characteristics, college graduate or higher (β=-.05, p=.002), high school graduate (β=-.03, p=.048), and current income of 3 million won∼4 million won (β=.04, p=.002). The factors affecting the subjective happiness of the elderly in the later stages were life satisfaction (β=.70, p<.001), emotion (β=.08, p=.004), subjective health status (β=-.07, p=.006), and mental health status (β=-.05, p=.049). This study is significant in that it provides basic data for developing programs to maximize the effect of happiness in the elderly and for setting policy directions based on the variables that affect the happiness of the elderly in Korea derived from this study.

전 세계의 인구가 노령화됨에 따라 노년층의 행복감에 대한 기대와 관심이 높아지기 시작하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 2023년 3차 한국인의 행복조사 원시자료를 이용하여 65세 이상 노인을 생애주기별로 분류하여 주관적 행복감과 이와 관련한 영향 요인을 분석하였다. 분석 결과를 살펴보면, 전기노인의 주관적 행복감에 영향을 미치는 요인은 삶의 만족도(β=.71, p<.001), 정서(β=.14, p<.001)와 일반적 특성 중에서는 대학교 졸업 이상(β=-.05, p=.002), 고등학교 졸업(β=-.03, p=.048), 현재 수입 중 300만 원 이상 400만 원 미만(β=.04, p=.002)으로 분석되었고, 이들 변수가 대상자의 주관적 행복감을 65%로 설명하였다. 후기노인의 주관적 행복감에 영향을 미치는 요인은 삶의 만족도(β=.70, p<.001), 정서(β =.08, p=.004), 주관적 건강상태(β=-.07, p=.006), 정신건강상태(β=-.05, p=.049) 순으로, 이들 변수가 대상 자의 주관적 행복감을 63%로 설명하였다. 본 연구에서 도출된 한국 노인의 행복감에 영향을 준 변수들을 기반으로 노인의 행복감 효과를 극대화 하기 위한 프로그램 개발과 이에 대한 정책방향을 설정하는 기초자료를 제공한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
