For many years, most of the alcoholic studies approached a point of view “disease model”. So, many studies had been focused on alcoholic oneself. As a result of reviewing the alcoholic research of social work field in South Korea, recent social work studies on alcoholics being explored alcoholic’s spouse, children of alcoholics or alcoholic families. On the other hand, some empirical research began on children of alcoholics who well adjusted to their circumstances in spite of adversity. It seems to be turn into strengthen perspective from pathology perspective on alcoholics. The purpose of the present study was to proposed intervention strategy for improving the alcoholic families’ family function from ecosystem perspective. For this, present study adapted the frame of analysis of social policy and analysed alcoholic policy’s goals and objectives, types of benefits and services, eligibility rules, service-delivery systems, financing. Specially, present study focused on community care for improving the alcoholic families’ family function.
