In order to examine the convergence characteristics of Nobel Prize winners, we analyzed the nomination archive of Nobel Prize winners in Chemistry from 1901 to 1974. Of the 66 awards in total, excluding the 8 awards in which there was no winner, 49 were awarded to a single person, accounting for approximately 74%. Of the 86 total winners, only 27 were nominated or nominated in the field of chemistry, accounting for approximately 31%. However, 55 were recommended in three or more fields, including chemistry, accounting for approximately 64%, clearly demonstrating the convergence characteristics of Nobel Prize winners in Chemistry. In addition, among the combinations of different fields, winners related to the convergence of physics and chemistry accounted for the largest proportion, at 36, accounting for approximately 42%.

노벨상 수상자의 융합 특성을 알아보기 위해서, 추천기록이 공개된 1901~1974년의 노벨화학상 수상자들의 추천 기록을 분석하였다. 수상자가 없었던 8회를 제외한 전체 66회의 수상 중 1인 수상이 49회로 약 74%에 해당하였 고, 전체 수상자 86명 중 화학 분야에서만 추천을 받거나 추천을 했던 수상자는 27명으로 약 31%에 불과했지만, 화학을 포함한 3개 이상 분야에서 추천과 관련이 있는 수상자는 55명으로 약 64%나 되어서, 노벨화학상 수상자의 융합 특성을 잘 보여주고 있었다. 또한 서로 다른 분야의 조합 중에서는 물리학과 화학의 융합과 연관이 있는 수 상자가 36명으로 약 42%가 되어 가장 많은 비율을 차지하였다.
