The purpose of this study is to analyze the media section-related educational contents in the elective subjects of the 2022 revised Korean language curriculum for deriving implications to improve it. To this end, media education in the elective-centered high school curriculum was distinguished into two cases: one is that the media section was embodied independently into a single advanced subject, the other is that the media section integrated with the other sections was embodied into several advanced subjects. As a result of the analysis, specific cases of deepened aspects within the media section and integrated aspects between the media and the other sections were identified, which suggested the implications for improving media educational contents in the curriculum.

이 연구는 2022 개정 국어과 교육과정의 선택 과목에서 나타나는 매체 교육 내용을 분석 하여 수정 및 보완되어야 할 사항들을 도출하고 이에 대해 시사점을 제공하기 위해 수행되었 다. 이를 위해 고등학교 선택 중심 교육과정에서의 매체 교육을, 매체 영역이 독립적으로 하 나의 심화 과목으로 구현된 경우와 매체 영역이 다른 영역과 통합되어 하나의 과목으로 구현 된 경우로 변별하였다. 그리고 모든 선택 과목의 성취기준을 대상으로 하여 매체 교육과 관련 된 성취기준인지 여부를 두 연구자가 각각 평정한 후 교차 검토를 통해 상호 합의된 성취기준 을 분석 대상으로 확정하였다. 분석 결과, 매체 영역 내에서의 심화·확장 양상 및 매체 영역 과 타 영역 간 통합 양상의 구체적 사례들을 확인하였고, 이와 관련하여 신설된 매체 영역이 고등학교의 선택 중심 교육과정 체제 안에서 보다 안정적으로 자리 잡는 데 필요한 시사점을 제시하였다.
