This study tried to verify the mediation effect of depression on the relationship between residential environment and safety perception and the moderated mediation effect of perceived discrimination in the residential environment and depression among older adults with disabilities. Data of the 3rd Disability Life Panel Survey (DLPS) were used for analysis. Samples of this research were, 2,161 individuals who answered all variables. Frequency, reliability, and hierarchical regression analyses were performed with SPSS 26.0 and PROCESS Macro. Results are as follows. First, residential environment had a direct effect on safety perception. Second, residential environment induced depression and depression induced safety perception. Third, the perceived discrimination moderate effect was ascertained between residential environment and depression. These findings suggest that residential environment improvement, management services, psychological support, and daily life support programs that reflect the needs and characteristics of elderly disabled people should be provided.

본 연구는 고령 장애인의 주거환경과 안전 인식 관계에서 우울의 매개효과와 주거환경 만족과 우울의 관계에서 차별인식의 조절된 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 장애인 삶 패널 3차 년도 자료 중 각 변수에 모두 응답한 고령 장애인 2.161명을 추출하였다. SPSS 26.0과 PROCESS Macro를 활용 빈도분석, 신뢰도, 회귀분석 및 매개효과와 조절된 매개효과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 고령 장애인의 주거환경과 안전 인식 관계에서 우울은 매개효과가 확인되었다. 또한 주거환경과 우울 관계에서 차별인식은 조절 효과가 확인되 었으며 주거환경, 우울, 안전 인식 관계에서 차별인식의 조절된 매개효과가 검증되었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 주거환경과 안전 인식 간의 관계에서 나타나는 우울의 매개효과와 차별인식의 조절 효과를 결합한 조절된 매개효과 모형을 새롭게 확인하였다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다. 연구 결과에 따라 고령 장애인들의 욕 구와 장애 특성을 반영한 주거환경 수리와 관리 서비스를 제공할 필요가 있으며 이들에 대한 심리지원 및 일상생활 지원 프로그램의 개발 보급을 통해 고령 장애인 당사자 스스로 필요한 정보와 제도 등을 파악할 수 있도록 해야 한다.
