The advent of the knowledge-based society of the 21st century and the era of the 4th industrial revolution has further recognized the importance of global innovative talents with creative problem-solving skills and convergent thinking. In particular, innovation in business education at universities is essential to foster talents suitable for future management practices who can actively respond to key issues such as artificial intelligence (AI), ESG, and digital transformation (DT). However, Korea’s current university education still has structural problems such as lecture-centered classes, theory-oriented curriculum, and an environment and curriculum that make it difficult to systematically cultivate global capabilities and practical skills. This study analyzed the major problems of business education at Korean universities from the perspective of fostering global core talents, and compared the operation of business and global education courses in the United States with the Korean university curriculum to derive improvement measures for the domestic education system. In particular, suggestions were made for activating the private qualification system of business consultants and business practitioners as management-related qualification systems. The results of this study revealed the following problems: (1) operation of a curriculum centered on basic management theories that are far removed from corporate practice (2) lack of related programs related to management practice (3) formal education operation centered on knowledge transfer in a lecture-style format that is not prepared for internationalization and globalization (4) insufficient industry-academia cooperation system between companies and universities (5) lack of connection between management education and management practice-related qualification systems. Improvement measures for these problems include (1) introduction of a project-based curriculum centered on creative and practical problem solving and practice (2) development of education programs linked to active education in international and national qualification systems and global tracks (3) expansion of industry-academia-linked capstone design and global internships (4) reorganization of the curriculum to strengthen capabilities integrated with AI and ESG-based management practice. This paper has academic and practical significance in that it suggests structural education reform and policy support directions for Korean universities to foster competent talents who can demonstrate practical work performance in industrial sites with strong corporate practice in the future.

21세기 지식기반사회와 제4차 산업혁명 시대의 도래는 전 세계적으로 창의적 문제해결 능력과 융복합 적 사고를 갖춘 글로벌 혁신인재의 중요성을 더욱 인식시키고 있다. 특히, 인공지능(AI), ESG, 디지털 전환(DT) 등의 핵심 이슈에 능동적으로 대응할 수 있는 미래형 경영실무에 적합한 인재 양성을 위해 대학에서의 경영학 관련교육의 혁신은 필수적이다. 그러나 한국의 현행 대학교육은 여전히 강의식 중심 의 수업, 이론 위주의 교육과정, 글로벌 역량과 실무능력을 체계적으로 배양하기 어려운 환경과 교육 과정 등 구조적인 문제점을 지니고 있다. 본 연구는 글로벌 핵심인재 육성이라는 관점에서 한국 대학 경영학 관련 교육의 주요 문제점을 분석 하고, 미국의 경영학 및 글로벌 교육과정 운영 방식을 한국의 대학교육과정과 비교를 통해 국내 교육제 도의 개선방안을 도출하고자 하였다. 특히, 경영관련 자격제도로써 경영지도사, 경영실무사의 민간자격 제도의 활성화를 위한 제언을 하였다. 이러한 연구결과 (1) 기업 현업실무와 동떨어진 경영학 기초이론 중심의 교육과정 운영 (2) 경영실무와 관련한 연계 프로그램의 부족 (3) 국제화 글로벌화에 대비하지 못한 강의식 위주의 지식전달 중심의 형식적 교육 운영 (4) 기업과 대학 간의 산학협력 체제의 미흡 (5) 경영학 교육의 경영실무 관련 자격제도와의 연계성 부족 등이 문제점으로 나타났다. 이에 대한 개선방안으로는 (1) 창의적이고 실전적인 문제해결과 실무 중심의 프로젝트 기반 교육과정 도입 (2) 국제적, 국가적 자격제도 적극적 교육 및 글로벌 트랙과의 연계된 교육프로그램 개발 (3) 산학 연계형 캡스톤디자인 및 글로벌 인턴십 확대 (4) AI·ESG 기반 경영실무와 융합된 역량 강화 교육과정 개편 등이 제시되었다. 본 논문은 향후 기업실무에 강한 산업현장에서 실전적으로 업무성과를 나타낼 수 있는 유능한 인재육성을 위한 한국 대학 구조적 교육개혁과 정책적 지원 방향을 제안한다는 점에서 학문적·실무적 의의를 가진다.
