This study developed a rubric to evaluate the competencies of dental hygienists required to perform oral health management tasks for the elderly with mobility difficulties. The development process of the rubric for evaluating the competency of oral health management tasks for the elderly was as follows: through a survey and analysis of historical data, the competencies of dental hygienists required for oral health management tasks for the elderly were classified into ‘knowledge’, ‘skills’, and ‘attitudes’ to organize detailed competencies; and a rubric for evaluating the competency of oral health management tasks for the elderly was developed based on these competencies. The developed rubric items are intended to contribute to the improvement of the competency of dental hygienists in oral health management of the elderly in the future and to provide basic data necessary for competency evaluation.

본 연구는 거동불편 노인을 대상으로 구강건강관리 업무 수행능력에 필요한 치과위생사의 역량을 평가하 기 위해 루브릭을 개발한 연구이다. 노인구강건강관리 업무 역량 평가 루브릭의 개발과정은 문헌조사 및 분석을 통하여 노인구강건강관리 업무 내용에 대하여 필요한 치과위생사의 역량을 ‘지식’, ‘기술’, ‘태도’로 분류하여 세부 역량을 구성하고 이를 바탕으로 노인구강건강관리 업무역량 평가 루브릭을 개발하였다. 개발된 루브릭 문항으로 향후 치과위생사의 노인구강건강관리 역량 향상에 기여하고 역량 평가에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.
