The purpose of this study is to research and analyze teaching satisfaction through application of the sport education model. It seeks to provide basic data for more active Middle School students' physical educational environment. Data and the study results for this study have been obtained through survey on 332 students. The surveys have been carried out on K middle school, registered at DongJak-Gu borough council of Seoul. For data analysis, statistical methods, two-way ANOVA have been used, operated on SPSS Window version 11.0 program. The results of this study are as follows: according to the study, the experimental group who has applied the sport education model groups is significantly different than the traditional education model groups and has interaction effect by student gender for teaching satisfaction. This result shows that the sport education model is more effective on teaching, evaluation satisfaction than the traditional education model.

본 연구는 학습자들의 수업만족도와 체육실기 평가에 대한 만족도를 분석함으로서 학생들의 체육수업에 대한 다양성과 만족감을 높여주는 동시에 효과적인 소프트볼 수업 적용을 통한 체육수업 기초 자료를 제시하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 서울시내 소재 K 중학교 3학년 10개혼성학급 학생 332명을 대상으로 스포츠교육모형의 수업을 적용한 5개 학급과 전통적 교수 모형의 수업을 적용한 5개 학급으로 2개 집단으로 분류하여 집단에 대한 수업을 진행하였다. 자료는 SPSS 하위 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였으며, 성별 및 수업방법에 따른 수업만족도 및 평가만족도를 알아보기 위하여 다변인 분산분석(two-way ANOVA)을 실시한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 스포츠교육 모형 적용한 소프트볼 수업집단이 전통적 교수모형 적용한 소프트볼 수업집단에 비해 수업만족도가 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 스포츠교육모형을 적용한 소프트볼 수업집단과 전통적 교수모형을 적용한 집단간의 평가만족도는 수업방법에 따른 평가만족도가 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았으며, 성별변인에 따른 평가만족도가 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 아울러 남녀혼성으로 이루어지는 스포츠교육모형 수업에서는 남,녀학생 모두에게 평가만족도를 높일 수 있는 효과적인 평가도구의 적용 등을 제언하였다.
