This study is descriptive research study to identify the relationships among critical thinking disposition, self-leadership, nursing professionalism, and patient safety competence in nursing students, and to examine the mediating effect of communication competence. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling with SPSS/Win 22.0 and AMOS. The findings revealed that communication competence mediated the effects of critical thinking disposition, self-leadership, and nursing professionalism on patient safety competence. Therefore, to improve nursing students' patient safety competence, it is necessary to implement an integrated curriculum and develop extracurricular programs that strengthen critical thinking disposition, self-leadership, nursing professionalism, and communication competence.

본 연구는 간호대학생의 비판적 사고성향, 셀프리더십, 간호전문직관, 환자안전역량 간의 관계를 파악하고 의사소통 능력의 매개효과를 알아보기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구자료는 2024년 6월 1일부터 8월 20일까지 간호대학생 218명을 대상으로 수집하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS/Win 22.0 프로그램으로 기술통계와 AMOS 구조방 정식 분석법을 사용하여 가설검증을 하였다. 간호대학생의 비판적 사고성향, 셀프리더십, 간호전문직관이 환자안전 역량에 미치는 영향에서 의사소통 능력이 매개변수로 작용하였다. 이는 비판적 사고성향, 셀프리더십, 간호전문직 관이 환자안전역량에 긍정적인 영향을 미치기 위해 의사소통 능력의 향상이 필요함을 시사한다. 따라서 간호대학 생의 환자안전역량 높이기 위해서는 비판적 사고성향, 셀프리더십, 간호전문직관, 의사소통 능력을 강화하는 통합 적인 교육과정 운영 및 비교과 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.
