To use high-speed train services such as KTX and SRT, you need to book tickets in advance. However, recently, there has been an increase in malicious refund scammers who purchase a large number of tickets online and then intentionally cancel them. They pay with a credit card, earn a certain number of points, and then cancel the reservation at a time when there are no ticket cancellation fees. Tickets returned close to the time of train departure are difficult for other passengers to buy back, and trains often end up running with empty seats. Trains are a multi-person mode of transportation, and minimizing empty seats provides convenience and savings for passengers and revenue for train operators. While it is understandable to cancel a ticket due to unavoidable circumstances, malicious refunds must be eradicated for the public good. This research aims to analyze the types of malicious refunds and propose effective prevention measures. The proposed methods can be implemented using existing technologies without any new hardware or software. It is also believed that these malicious refunders use macro programs to book large numbers of tickets, and this paper also proposes countermeasures to block this automated behavior.

KTX, SRT를 비롯한 고속열차 서비스를 이용하려면 미리 승차권을 예매해야한다. 그런데 최근 온라인으로 대량의 승차권을 예매한 뒤 의도적으로 취소하는 악성 환불자들이 늘어나고 있다. 이들은 신용카드로 결제한 후, 특 정 포인트를 얻은 후에 승차권 취소 수수료가 부과되지 않는 시점에 예약을 취소한다. 열차 출발의 임박한 시간에 반환된 승차권은 다른 승객이 다시 구매하기 어렵고, 결국 열차는 빈 좌석이 있는 상태로 운행되기도 한다. 열차는 여러 사람이 함께 이용하는 교통수단이며 빈 좌석을 최소화하는 것이 승객에게 편의성과 저렴함을 제공하고 열차 운행사에게는 수익을 제공하게 된다. 불가피한 사정으로 인한 승차권 취소는 이해할 수 있지만, 악의적인 환불 행위 는 공공의 이익을 위해 반드시 근절되어야 한다. 이에 본 연구는 악성 환불 행위의 유형을 분석하고, 효과적인 예방 방안을 제시하는 것을 목표로 한다. 제안하는 방법은 새로운 하드웨어나 소프트웨어 추가 없이 기존 기술을 활용하 여 구현될 수 있도록 한다. 또한, 이러한 악성 환불자들이 매크로 프로그램을 이용해 대량의 승차권을 예매하는 것 으로 추정되며, 본 논문에서는 이러한 자동화된 행위를 차단할 수 있는 대응 방안도 함께 제안하고자 한다.
