This study understands the concept of unit homogenization and examines the aesthetic theory for the fusion and extended expression of unit homogenization. Unit homogenization refers to the process of forming a single integrated structure by repeatedly arranging individual units. Unit homogenization is found not only in the art field, but also in various disciplines such as physics, sociology, medicine, and ecology, especially in the art field, it acts as an important concept in seeking new expression methods and creative approaches in the formative arts. This study attempted to create an organic expression method of unit homogenization by analyzing what aesthetic principles are based on when expressing the formative fusion and expansion of unit homogenization. It was found that the aesthetic theory of unit homogenization fusion expression in art creation is based on structuralism and organicism, and the extended expression is based on repetitive aesthetics and structural expansion theory. In conclusion, the aesthetic theory, which is the basis of unit homogenization, suggests that it can play an important role not only in new expressions of formative art but also in various creative expressions through interdisciplinary convergence.

본 연구는 유닛 동질화(Unit Homogenization)의 개념을 이해하고, 유닛 동 질화의 융합 표현과 확장 표현을 위한 미학적 이론을 고찰한 것이다. 유닛 동질화는 개 별적인 단위가 반복적으로 배열되면서 하나의 통합된 성질을 형성하는 과정을 의미한 다. 유닛 동질화는 미술 분야뿐만 아니라 물리학, 사회학, 의학, 생태학 등 다양한 학 문에서도 발견되는데, 특히 미술 분야에서는 조형 예술에서 새로운 표현 방식과 창의 적 접근 방안을 모색하는 데 중요한 개념으로 작용한다. 본 연구에서는 유닛 동질화를 조형적으로 융합하고, 확장하는 표현을 할 때 각 기 어떤 미학적 원리에 기반하고 있는지 분석하여 유닛 동질화의 유기적 표현 방식을 만들고자 하였다. 미술 창작에서 유닛 동질화 융합 표현의 미학적 이론은 구조주의와 유기주의 이론이 기반이 되고, 확장 표현은 반복적 미학과 구조적 확장 이론이 기반이 됨을 알 수 있었다. 결론적으로 유닛 동질화의 근간이 되는 미학적 이론은 조형 예술의 새로운 표현 방식뿐만 아니라 학제 간 융합을 통해 다양한 창의적 표현에도 중요한 역할을 할 수 있 음을 시사하고자 한다.
