The purpose of this study is to derive selection attributes according in start-up education by class type and to verify the efficiency of each selection attribute through an importance-performance analysis (IPA). The research was conducted in three main phases. First, a theoretical review of prior studies was conducted on the class types of start-up education and their associated selection attributes. Second, three major class types of start-up education were identified: theoretical lectures, mentoring, and field training. These were analyzed using IPA by categorizing detailed selection attributes into content, instructor, and environment for each class type. Third, the selection attributes that were assessed using IPA were mapped into four domains: ‘Keep up the good work’, ‘Concentrated here’, ‘Low priority’, and ‘Possible overkill’. As a result of the study, it was noted that several differences between perceived importance and satisfaction levels exist across the selection attributes in different class types. These findings highlight the practical significance of using the IPA Matrix to help guide theoretical and practical development of start-up education.

본 연구는 창업교육의 수업형태에 따른 선택속성을 도출하고, 중요도-만족도 분석(IPA, Importance and Performance Analysis)을 통해 선택속성별 효율성을 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 방법과 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 선행연구를 통하여 창업교육과 창업교육의 수업형태, 선택속성에 대한 이론적 고찰을 한다. 둘째, 창업교육의 수 업형태 중 이론강의식, 멘토링식, 현장실습식 창업교육을 구분하여 선택속성인 콘텐츠, 강사, 환경에서의 세부 요인들 을 파악하여 각 수업형태별 중요도-만족도 분석(IPA)을 수행한다. 셋째, 중요도-만족도 분석(IPA)으로 수행한 창업교육 의 선택속성을 ‘지속유지’, ‘집중노력’, ‘점진개선’, ‘과잉노력’의 영역으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 수업형태별 중요도와 만족도에서 선택속성들의 차이를 확인할 수 있어, 본 연구에서 제시한 창업교육의 수업형태별 선택속성들의 IPA Matrix를 통해 창업교육 실무에서의 이론적 확장에 기여하는 것에 의의가 있다.
