This study aimed to analyze the effects of self-esteem and school life adaptation on academic resilience among adult nursing students. A survey was conducted with adult nursing students enrolled in two universities located in Chungcheongnam-do and Jeollanam-do, South Korea. Data collection took place from March 4 to March 20, 2025. The collected data were analyzed using t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The findings revealed that academic resilience was significantly influenced by self-esteem (β=.223, p=.010), school life adaptation (β=.415, p<.001),, and academic performance (β=.203, p=.027). Among these factors, school life adaptation (β=.415, p<.001), emerged as the strongest predictor, while self-esteem was also identified as an important influencing factor. This study provides foundational data for developing psychosocial interventions to support the academic persistence and success in adult nursing students.

이 연구는 성인학습자 간호대학생을 대상으로 자아존중감과 대학생활 적응이 학업탄력성에 미치는 영향을 분 석하고자 하였다. 충청남도와 전라남도에 소재한 2개 대학 간호학과 재학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 자 료 수집은 2025년 2월 4일부터 2월 20일까지 이루어졌다. 수집된 자료는 t-test, ANOVA, Pearson 상관분석, 다중회귀 분석을 통해 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 학업탄력성은 자아존중감(β=.223, p=.010), 대학생활 적응(β=.415, p<.001), 학업성 적(β=.203, p=.027)에 의해 유의하게 영향을 받았으며, 이 중 대학생활 적응(β=.415, p<.001)이 가장 강력한 영향 요인 으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 성인학습자의 학업 지속과 성공을 지원하기 위한 심리사회적 개입의 기초자료를 제공하는 데 의의가 있다.
