This study uses text mining techniques to analyze the characteristics and trends of contemporary dance education over time. A total of 250 datasets from domestic academic journals and theses collected between the 1990s and December 2024 were selected for analysis. Using TEXTOM 5.0, data was processed through morphological analysis, noun extraction, and stopword removal, followed by keyword frequency analysis, word cloud visualization, and LDA topic modeling. The results showed that from 1990-1999, research focused on teaching methods; from 2000-2009, on artistic values and creativity; from 2010-2019, on expanded dance education programs in other art fields; and from 2020-2024, on the complementary relationship between education and performance. This study provides valuable quantitative data visualizes 34 years of key terms in contemporary dance education through big data analysis.

본 연구는 텍스트 마이닝 기법을 활용하여 현대무용교육의 시기별 특징을 분석하고 연구 동향을 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 1990년대부터 2024년 12월까지 국내학술지 및 학위논문을 대상으로 수집된 250 건의 데이터를 최종 분석대상으로 선정하였으며, 자료 분석은 텍스톰(TEXTOM 5.0)을 활용하여 형태소 분석, 명사 추출, 불용어 처리 등의 과정을 거쳐 키워드 빈도분석 및 워드클라우드, LDA 토픽모델링을 시각화하였다. 분석결과, 1990-1999년에는 현대무용교육의 교수법 연구, 2000-2009년은 예술적 가치와 창의적 사고의 연 구, 2010-2019년은 타 예술 분야에서 확장된 현대무용교육프로그램 연구, 2020-2024년은 현대무용교육과 공연의 상호보완적인 관계에 관한 연구가 주를 이루었다. 본 연구는 현대무용교육의 흐름을 파악할 수 있는 정 량적인 기초자료를 제공하고 텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 빅데이터 분석을 통해 34년간의 현대무용교육의 주요 키워드를 시각화시켰다는 점에서 연구의 가치를 가진다.
