This study examines the creation and production of the genre-hybrid performance , which integrates traditional Korean music, theater, and video. As a practice based research, it analyzes interdisciplinary collaboration and directorial strategies. Focusing on the sensory themes of food and music, the performance aimed to evoke memory and empathy through a unified narrative rather than a parallel display of genres. The researcher, who also directed the work, was involved throughout the entire process, enabling close observation of communication dynamics, creative approaches, and methods of artistic integration. The study investigates how theatrical dialogue and musical elements were organically linked, and how performance and video interacted to create emotional continuity. The central concept—"sharing sensory experience through food"—invited audiences to connect past memories with present emotions. This research underscores that collaboration in performance-making is not merely technical coordination but a creative process that produces new artistic expressions. Rather than compromising each form’s uniqueness, genre fusion offers opportunities to reframe and expand their essence. stands as an experimental model of dismantling artistic boundaries and creating innovative structures. Ultimately, this study provides a case that illustrates how genre convergence operates in contemporary performance contexts. It explores hybrid creative methodologies and proposes directions for theoretical development. The work contributes to the growing discourse on convergent performing arts and encourages continued interdisciplinary experimentation. The purpose of this study is to analyze how creators understand and share each other's work methods and integrate artistic language. This approach will vividly illuminate the specific problems and solutions of creating genre fusion performances and provide practical insights to artists who attempt similar creations in the future as a practical case study.

본 연구는 국악, 연극, 영상을 유기적으로 결합한 장르 융합 공연 <한 입, 한 소절>의 창·제작 과정을 실천적 사례 연구로 다루며, 장르 간 협업의 구체적인 구조와 연출 전략을 분석하고자 한다. 본 공연은 음식과 음악이라는 일상적이면서도 감각적인 소재를 중심으로 기억과 공감을 끌어내는데 주안점을 두었 으며, 서로 다른 장르가 단순히 병렬적으로 나열되는 방식이 아닌, 하나의 서사와 정서를 공동으로 전달 하는 복합적인 예술 형태로 기획되었다. 연구자는 본 공연의 연출자로 참여하여 초기 기획 단계부터 공 연 창·제작의 전 과정에 깊이 관여하였다. 이를 통해 협업 과정에서 나타나는 다양한 예술 주체 간의 소통 방식, 창작 접근법의 차이, 그리고 통합을 위한 조정의 실제 사례들을 관찰하고 분석할 수 있었다. 특히 연극적 대사와 음악적 구조가 어떻게 유기적으로 연결되며, 무대 위의 퍼포먼스와 영상이 공연의 정서적 흐름과 어떻게 상호 작용하는지를 구체적으로 검토하였다. 공연의 중심 개념이자 서사 구조는 ‘음식을 매개로 한 감각의 공유’였으며, 이를 통해 관객이 과거의 기억과 현재의 정서를 연결하도록 유도 하였다. 본 연구는 공연 제작을 위한 협업의 과정이 단지 실용적 분업이나 기능적 조율에 그치는 것이 아니라, 공동 창작을 통해 새로운 예술 언어와 공연 문법을 생산해 내는 창의적 실천임을 강조한다. 장르 간 융합은 각 예술 분야의 고유성을 상실하는 것이 아니라, 오히려 그 본질을 새롭게 조명하며 확장하는 기회가 된다. <한 입, 한 소절>의 창·제작 과정은 바로 이러한 예술 간 경계 허물기와 새로운 창작 모델 형성의 실험이었으며, 이는 향후 장르 융합 공연의 지향점을 제시하는 데 중요한 사례가 될 수 있다. <한 입, 한 소절>의 창·제작 과정은 단지 한 편의 공연을 완성하는 데 그치지 않고, 동시대 공연예술의 창작 생태계 속에서 예술가들 간의 협업이 어떻게 이루어질 수 있는지, 그리고 장르 간 통합을 통해 새로운 형태의 공연 언어가 어떻게 탄생할 수 있는지를 보여주는 하나의 실기 기반 연구 사례로 의의가 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 실천적 경험을 바탕으로, 융합형 공연예술의 창작 방법론을 탐색하고 그 이론적 정립 가능성을 제시하고자 한다. 앞으로도 다양한 장르를 유기적으로 결합한 공연예술의 시도가 활발히 이루 어지기를 바라며, 본 연구가 그 흐름 속에서 유의미하기를 기대한다.
