In the 2022 revised moral curriculum, the area of relationship with oneself has undergone a change that includes the content of transcendence. Therefore, this study focused on Nammyeong's Gyeong (敬) ideology and studied the implications that can be given to the area of relationship with oneself. The Gyeong of Nammyeong presides over the right mind of man and acts as the basis of all actions. Through Gyeong, I emphasized the need to establish a new moral subject in relation to himself. It helped clarify the nature of the core idea made up of sincerity and moral reflection. In addition, based on attitudes such as honesty, concentration, solemnity, and stability that characterize the concept of honor, I asked that the meaning of the learning process be studied to the end.

2022 개정 도덕과 교육과정에서 자신과의 관계 영역은 초월에 관한 내용이 포함되는 변화를 겪게 되었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 남명의 경 (敬)사상에 주목하면서 ‘자신과의 관계’ 영역에 줄 수 있는 시사점에 관해 연구하였다. 남명의 경은 인간의 바른 마음을 주재하는 것으로서 모든 행동의 근본으로 작용하게 된다. 연구자는 남명의 경을 통해 자 신과의 관계에 있어 새로운 도덕적 주체의 정립이 필요함을 역설하였 다. 또한 성실과 도덕적 성찰로 이루어진 영역 핵심 아이디어의 성격 을 분명히 하는 데 일조할 수 있다고 주장하였다. 끝으로 경의 개념을 특징짓는 정직, 집중, 엄숙, 안정과 같은 태도를 바탕으로 학습 과정에 서 그 의미를 끝까지 궁구할 것을 당부하였다.
