This paper discusses what is cleaning in xiaoxue (小學) and submits a plan to apply it to modern elementary moral education. There are two implications for cleaning in xiaoxue. First, it's cleaning accompanied by jing (敬). Second, it's cleaning that settles in li (禮). In the process of accumulating cleaning Gongfu (工夫) in xiaoxue, the attitude of jing becomes a habit, moral nature is naturally cultivated as the experience of settling in li is accumulated. Based on these discussions, this paper reconstructs the xiaoxue cleaning Gongfu into content elements suitable for application to modern elementary moral education, and based on this, I presented a class plan on the subject of xiaoxue cleaning.

본 논문은 소학(小學)에서의 청소란 무엇인지 논하고, 이를 현대 초 등 도덕 교육에 적용하는 방안을 제시한다. 소학에서의 청소에는 두 가지 함의가 있다. 하나는 경(敬)을 수반하는 청소이고, 다른 하나는 예(禮)에 안착하는 청소이다. 이러한 소학에서의 청소 공부를 반복적으 로 하게 되면, 경(敬)의 태도가 습관으로 자리 잡게 되고, 예(禮)와 합 일하는 경험이 쌓여 자연스럽게 덕성이 함양된다. 이러한 논의를 토대 로 본 논문은 소학에서의 청소를 현대 초등 도덕 교육에 적용 가능한 내용 요소로 재구성하고, 이를 바탕으로 프로젝트 수업계획안을 제시 하였다.
