This study examined the impact of political efficacy on nurses' political participation, classified by clinical experience. A total of 194 nurses from a general hospital were recruited via convenience sampling. Findings indicated that nurses with less than 36 months of experience had higher political efficacy, while those with over 37 months showed greater passive political participation. In the less experienced group, internal political efficacy influenced both passive and active participation. Conversely, for nurses with more than 37 months of experience, both internal and external political efficacy affected active participation. These results underscore the need to enhance information on political participation for junior nurses. Diversifying participation methods may further empower these nurses. For senior nurses, tailored information could strengthen their political efficacy. Ultimately, boosting political confidence is crucial for fostering active political involvement.
