The emotional bond formed through interactions with companion animals motivates people to travel with companion animals and plays an important role in behavioral intentions. This study aims to analyze the influence between variables that affect the behavioral intention of traveling with a companion animal travel. For empirical analysis, a questionnaire was conducted on 193 who lives with companion animals, and SPSS 22.0 was used to conduct frequency analysis, validity and reliability analysis, and hypothesis verification. As a result of the analysis, first, the relationship between travel motivation and air travel constraints was verified with a significant negative (-) effect. Second, air travel constraints showed a significant negative (-) effect on behavioral intentions. Third, travel motivation showed a significant positive (+) effect on behavioral intentions. Lastly, air travel constraints were verified to have a partial mediating effect between travel motivation and behavioral intention. Through this study aim to recognize that traveling with a companion animal is a wellness trip that pursues health and relaxation, form a trend-leading air travel culture, and contribute to the development and operation of air travel.

반려동물과의 상호작용으로 형성된 정서적 유대감이 반려동물과 함께 여행하고자 하는 동기를 부여하고 행동의도에 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 연구는 반려동물 동반 여행의 행동의도에 영향을 미치는 변수 간의 영향을 분석하고자 반려인을 대상 으로 193명의 설문 조사를 실시하였고 실증분석을 위해 SPSS 22.0을 활용하여 빈도분석, 타당성 및 신뢰도 분석, 가설검증 을 실행하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 여행동기와 항공여행제약과의 관계는 유의한 부(-)의 영향이 나타났다. 둘째, 항공여행제약은 행동의도에 유의한 부(-)의 영향이 나타났다. 셋째, 여행동기는 행동의도에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 보였다. 마지막, 항공여행 제약은 여행동기와 행동의도 사이에 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 검증되었다. 연구를 통하여 반려동물 동반 여행이 건강과 휴식을 추구하는 웰니스 여행을 인식하고 트렌드를 선도하는 항공 여행 문화를 형성하고 항공 여행 개발 및 운영에 기여하고자 한다.
