This study was conducted to examine the relationship between attitudes toward respect for self-determination of life-sustaining treatment, awareness of the role in discontinuing life-sustaining treatment, self-efficacy in terminal care, and attitudes toward terminal care in nursing students with clinical practice experience, and to provide basic data for developing a program to improve attitudes toward terminal care. The data collection period is from October 15 to October 30, 2024. The questionnaires of 148 nursing students who agreed to participate in this study were analyzed. The data were analyzed using the SPSS program, and descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis were performed. The results of the analysis showed that the factors influencing nursing students' attitudes toward terminal care were attitudes toward respect for self-determination of life-sustaining treatment, awareness of the role in discontinuing life-sustaining treatment, and self-efficacy in terminal care. The explanatory power of these variables was 43.4%. In conclusion, in order to improve nursing students' attitudes toward end-of-life nursing, it is necessary to develop a simulation program for various end-of-life situations and apply it to the nursing curriculum.

본 연구에서는 임상실습경험이 있는 간호대학생을 대상으로 연명의료 가지결정존중에 대한 태도, 연명의료중단 역할에 대한 인식, 임종간호 자기효능감 및 임종간호태도간의 관계를 살펴보고, 임종간호태도 향상프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 자료수집기간은 2024년 10월 15일부터 10월 30일까지이며. 본 연구에 참여 동의한 간호대학생 148명의 설문지가 분석되었다. 자료분석은 SPSS프로그램을 이용하였으며, 서술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson 상관관계 및 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 분석결과 간호대학생의 임종간호태도에 미치는 영향요인은 연명의료자기결정존중에 대한 태도, 연명의료 중단에 대한 역할인식, 임종간호 자기효능감으로 나타났으며. 이들의 변 수에 대한 설명력은 43.4%였다. 결론적으로 간호대학생의 임종간호태도 향상을 위해서는 다양한 임종상황을 시뮬레 이션 프로그램으로 개발하여 간호학과 교육과정에 적용할 필요가 있을 것으로 사료된다.
