This study explores the roles and implications of photogrammetry and volumetric technologies, essential tools in 3D graphics and digital content production. Interest in these technologies began to rise in the early 2000s, but adoption was initially hindered by high costs and technical complexity. However, the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the demand for non-face-to-face solutions, positioning these technologies as key enablers for creating realistic 3D representations of objects, spaces, and individuals in virtual environments. This study aims to analyze the significance of photogrammetry and volumetric technologies, their industrial applications, and their role in immersive media and digital transformation. Text mining techniques, including keyword trend analysis, relationship analysis, and word cloud visualizations, were used to assess industry and public interest. The findings reveal a growing demand for high-quality 3D data and highlight the transformative impact of photogrammetry and volumetric technologies across various industries. Their applications in immersive media tools, such as virtual tourism and digital twin construction, are particularly noteworthy. The study also emphasizes collaborative efforts between public and private sectors in advancing these technologies. This research establishes a foundation for future advancements, contributing to the improvement of 3D capture technologies in digital content production. By highlighting their increasing role in immersive media and digital transformation, the study provides insights into their expanding industrial applications and sets the stage for further technological development and accessibility improvements.
