Artificial intelligence (AI) is expected to play a crucial role in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, this study sought to identify variables that positively influence the acceptance of AI by the citizen. In particular, this study examined the causal relationship between the values of efficiency, effectiveness, responsiveness, transparency, and equity, which are important for the acceptance of AI in the public sector. The findings showed that, first, the citizen's perceived efficiency will be improved through the use of AI and the responsiveness of the government through the use of AI are expected to have a positive impact on the acceptance of AI. Second, the citizen's perception of effectiveness has a positive impact on the acceptance of AI. This means that if citizens perceive AI to be effective in achieving government policy goals, they will be more willing to accept the use of AI. Third, when the government utilizes AI to enhance equity in government policies or improve transparency through the use of AI, it can positively affect the citizen's acceptance of AI.

본 연구는 4차산업혁명시대에 인공지능(AI)의 중요성이 부각되면서 국민들의 인공지능 활용 서비 스 수용성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 변인들을 밝히고자 하였다. 특히 인공지능 활용 서비스에 중 요한 효율성, 효과성, 대응성, 투명성, 형평성 가치와 인공지능 활용 서비스 수용성과의 인과관계를 살펴보고자 하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 인공지능(AI)의 활용을 통해 효율성이 개선될 것이라는 국민의 인식, 인공지능(AI) 활용을 통해 정부의 대응성이 높아진다면 인공지능 활용 서비스의 수용성에도 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상된다. 둘째, 효과성에 대한 국민의 인식도 인공지능 활용 서비스 수용성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이것은 인공지능을 활용하여 정부의 정책목표 달성에 효과적일 것으로 인식하게 된다면 보다 인공지능 활용 서비스 수용하려는 경향이 높아진다 는 것이다. 셋째, 정부가 인공지능을 활용하여 정부정책의 형평성을 제고하거나 인공지능(AI) 활용 을 통해 투명성이 향상될 때 국민들의 인공지능 활용 서비스 수용성에도 긍정적인 영향을 미칠수 있다는 것이다.
