This study uses the Korea Employment Education Panel (KEEP) data to examine the impact of youth career barriers awareness on job satisfaction. Focusing on job satisfaction among employed adults at the 7th current point in time, depending on ego-resiliency, the causal relationship of career barriers was explored which is a factor that hinders career path. Career barriers are measures of adolescence career disadvantages, and psychological career barriers and environmental career barriers were included in the model. In addition, high school academic performance was included as a variable to examine the effect of academic achievement at that time on career maturity and job satisfaction. The analysis results confirmed that career barriers and job satisfaction have a direct causal relationship. In addition, one of the factors affecting job satisfaction can be seen as academic achievement. The most important point in academic achievement would be secondary education. At this time, their aptitude and career path are determined based on what they achieve, and on the other hand, the career path itself is also limited to a certain extent. The results of this study can explore career barriers related to job satisfaction of those entering adolescence, and can also be used as support information for improving adolescence job satisfaction.

본 연구는 한국교육고용패널(KEEP) 데이터를 활용하여 청년기 진로장벽 인식이 직업만족도에 미치 는 영향을 밝히고자 이루어졌다. 기본적으로 7차 현재 시점에서 취업한 성인을 대상으로 직업만족도에 초점을 두었다. 이들을 대상으 로 자아탄력성의 여부에 따라 진로방해요인인 진로장벽의 인과관계를 탐색하였다. 진로장벽은 청년기 진로 불리요인을 측정하였다. 이를 각각 환경적 요인과 심리적 요인으로 나누고, 내부적 요인과 외부적 요인을 각각 다루고자 하였다. 이에 따라 심리적 진로장벽과 환경적 진로장벽을 모형에 투입하였다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 고등학교 학업 성적을 변인으로 넣어, 이때의 학업 성취가 취업한 현 시 점에서 직업만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 분석 결과, 진로장벽과 직업만족도는 직접적인 인과관계가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 직업만족 도에 영향을 미치는 요인 중 하나는 학업 성취라고 볼 수 있다는 가능성 또한 확인하였다. 학업 성취의 가장 중요한 시점은 대입 또는 취업을 앞둔 중등교육 시점이라고 보았다. 이때 어떠한 성취를 하느냐에 따라 적성과 진로가 결정되고, 또 한편으로는 진로 자체도 일정 부분 제한된다는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구 결과는 청년기에 진입한 이들의 직업만족도와 관련된 진로장벽 요인을 탐색할 수 있으며, 이를 바탕으로 청년기 직업만족도 제고를 위한 지원 정보로도 활용 가능할 것이라 판단한다.
