Trans has the meaning of trans and transcendence, and can be used as a concept to explain design expressions that extend beyond various boundaries in modern fashion. In particular, the military look is a style that was inspired by military uniforms, but in modern fashion, it is developing into a diversified form beyond the boundaries of gender, culture, and the times. The purpose of this study is to analyze and categorize cases of trans military looks in modern women's fashion collections. The research method was conducted focusing on theoretical consideration and case analysis. The theoretical background summarized previous studies and literature on trans and military fashion. The case analysis used Delphi techniques and focus group interviews, and the types were classified after expert review. The subject of the study was based on military looks that appeared in the world's four major fashion collections from 2018 to 2025. As a result of the analysis, trans military looks were classified into a period-cultural type, a formative expansion type, and a gender boundary dismantling type. First, the period-cultural transcendental type is an example of a military look transformed into a new design in combination with various period elements and cultural characteristics. The formative expansion type is an example of maximizing design experience and creativity by transforming the structure of the existing military look. Third, it is an example of a change in the direction of embracing gender identity regardless of gender. This study is meaningful in that trans military looks expand the creative expandability and diversity of expressions in fashion design. It also provides important implications for future fashion trends and design innovation.

트랜스(Trans)는 횡단과 초월의 의미를 가지며, 현대 패션에서 다양한 경계를 넘어 확장된 디자인 표현을 설명하는 개념으로 활용될 수 있다. 특히, 밀리터리 룩은 군복에서 영감을 받아 탄생한 스타일이지만, 현대 패션에서는 성별, 문화, 시대의 경계를 넘어서 다변화된 형태로 발전하고 있다. 본 연구는 현대 여성 패션컬렉션에서 나타나는 트랜스 밀리터리 룩의 사례를 분석하고, 이를 유형화하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법은 이론적 고찰과 사례 분석을 중심으로 수행하였다. 이론적 배경은 트랜스와 밀리터리 패션을 선행 연구와 문헌으로 정리하였다. 사례 분석은 델파이 기법과 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 활용하였으며 전문가 검토를 거쳐 유형을 분류하였다. 연구 대상은 2018년부터 2025년까지 세계 4대 패션 컬렉션에서 등장한 밀리터리 룩을 기반으로 한다. 분석 결과 트랜스 밀리터리 룩은 시대·문화 초월적 유형, 조형적 확장 유형, 성별 경계 해체 유형으로 분류되었다. 첫째, 시대·문화 초월적 유형은 밀리터리 룩이 다양한 시대적 요소 및 문화적 특성과 결합하여 새로운 디자인으로 변형된 사례이다. 조형적 확장 유형은 기존 밀리터리 룩의 구조를 변형하여 디자인의 실험성과 창의성이 극대화된 사례이다. 셋째, 밀리터리 룩이 성적 구분 없이 성정체성을 포용하는 방향으로 변화한 사례이다. 본 연구를 통해 트랜스 밀리터리 룩이 패션디자인의 창의적 확장성과 표현의 다양성을 확대하는 데 그 의의가 있으며, 미래 패션 트렌드와 디자인 혁신에 중요한 시사점을 제공할 것으로 기대한다.
