This study examines the impact of spinal thermal massage devices (Ceragem) on migraine symptom relief through a case study analysis and explores the potential physiological mechanisms underlying the effects. Data were collected from three participants, including baseline conditions, symptom changes measured through VAS scores, and subjective reports following regular use of the device. Results indicate a significant reduction in both intensity and frequency of migraine symptoms across all cases. The observed effects are attributed to various physiological mechanisms, including autonomic nervous system regulation, myofascial tension relief, neurotransmitter modulation, and stress hormone reduction. This study suggests the potential value of spinal thermal massage devices as an adjunctive intervention for non-pharmacological migraine management and highlights the need for further validation through large-scale randomized controlled trials.

본 연구는 척추온열마사지기기(Ceragem)의 사용이 편두통 증상 완화에 미치는 영향을 사례 연구를 통해 분석하 고, 기기의 잠재적 생리학적 기전을 탐구하였다. 3명의 대상자를 분석 대상으로 하여, 척추온열마사지기기의 정기적 사용 이 편두통 증상에 미치는 효과를 평가하였다. 데이터는 초기 상태, 체험 횟수별(VAS 점수 등) 증상 변화, 주관적 보고를 포함하여 수집되었다. 결과적으로, 모든 사례에서 편두통의 강도와 빈도가 유의미하게 감소하였으며, 자율신경계 조절, 근 막 긴장 완화, 신경전달물질 변화, 스트레스 호르몬 감소 등 다양한 생리학적 기전이 이러한 효과를 뒷받침하였다. 본 연 구는 척추온열마사지기기가 비약물적 편두통 관리의 보조적 중재 방법으로 유망한 가능성을 가지고 있음을 시사하며, 대 규모 무작위 대조 연구를 통한 추가 검증이 필요함을 제언한다.
