Haengdang-dong Agissidang is one of the village shrines in Seoul that has been managed as the 7th generation family succession, and the female shaman who performs Agissidang-gut (shaman rituals) has been hereditary for the 4th generations. In spite of repeated relocation and restoration, the Haengdang-dong Agissidang is Local Monument Site of Seongdong-gu, and the Shaman Paintings are Folk Cultural Heritage in Seoul. This Dang-gut has served as a media for preserving and conveying oral history through communication with residents, and has played a socially integrated role as a village festival where various people enjoy the Dang-gut, and has been designated as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Seoul. Recently, the culture of village shrines and rituals that have been lost in the process of urban growth, and development has been reexamined, leading to demands for conservation. Therefore, this study examined the direction of conservation and maintenance for the cultural heritages in Haengdang-dong Agissidang, which was demolished for redevelopment and is currently being restored, and considered the conservation of the original form and succession implications as positive values for local culture that are necessary for future generations.

행당동아기씨당은 서울지역에서 마을신을 모신 사당의 하나로 7대째 가계계승으로 관 리되고 있으며, 아기씨당굿을 연행하는 당주무녀는 4대째 혈연으로 세습되고 있다. 최근까지 이전과 복원의 반복을 거치면서도 행당동아기씨당은 성동구의 향토유적이며, 무신도는 서울시 민속문화유산이다. 아기씨당굿은 주민과 소통을 통해 구비역사를 보존하고 전달하는 매체가 되어 다양한 사람들이 굿판을 즐기는 대동축제로 사회통합적 역할을 수행해 왔으며, 서울시 무형문화유산으로 지정되어 있다. 근래에 들어 도시의 성장과 개발 과정에서 소실되어가는 마 을제의와 제당에 대한 문화가 재조명되면서 보존에 대한 요구로 이어지고 있다. 따라서 이 연 구에서는 현재 재개발로 철거되었다 다시 복원 중인 행당동아기씨당의 문화유산에 대한 보존 방향과 유지관리 및 미래세대에게도 필요한 지역문화의 긍정적 가치로서 원형보존과 전승적 의미를 검토하였다.
