This study aims to analyze how academic achievement and presentation skills relate to learning styles among international undergraduate students. As a result of the study, the learning style preferences of international undergraduate students were found to be ‘visual, introverted, intuitive, closed, and analytical.’ The analysis of the correlation between personal variables, learning styles, academic achievement, and presentation skills showed a significant correlation between ‘proficiency and academic performance’ and ‘nationality and presentation skills.’ The study found that the learning style positively affected the duration of Korean language learning, academic performance, and presentation scores and that higher academic performance was associated with higher presentation scores.

본 연구는 국내 대학에 재학 중인 외국인 학부생을 대상으로 학업 성취도 와 발표 능력이 학습양식과 어떠한 상관관계를 가지는지 분석하였다. 그 결과, 외국인 학부생의 학습양식 선호도는 ‘시각형, 내향형, 직관형, 폐쇄 형, 분석형’이 각각 높게 나타났다. 그리고 국적별 학습양식 선호도는 과 제 접근방식 선호도에서 차이를 보였는데 중국어권 학부생은 개방형을 선호하는 반면, 비중국어권 학부생은 폐쇄형을 선호하는 것으로 나타났 다. 개인 변인과 학습양식, 학업 성취도, 발표 능력 간의 상관관계를 분석 한 결과는 ‘숙달도와 학업 성적’, ‘국적과 발표 능력’ 간에 상관관계가 유 의미하게 나타났다. 그중에서 ‘숙달도와 학업 성적’ 간에는 강한 상관관 계에 있었다. 학습양식은 ‘한국어 학습 기간이나 학업 성적, 발표 점수’에 서 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났고 학업 성적이 높으면 발표 점수 도 높게 나타난다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 가장 상관관계가 높 은 것은 학습양식과 발표 점수로 나타났다.
