This study aims to suggest specific policy directions for technology development, ecosystem creation, and industrial activation by considering the characteristics and potential of blockchain technology, and to enable blockchain technology to strengthen national competitiveness and contribute to sustainable economic growth. The blockchain industry activation measures are organized into 1) improvement of laws and systems, 2) securing an investment environment, 3) training of professional manpower, 4) industrial linkage, and 5) ecosystem creation. This study will contribute to improving positive perceptions of blockchain technology and industry and supporting the growth of companies by suggesting the role of the government in fostering the industry from the perspective of the blockchain industry. The results of this study are data for policymaking not only for the blockchain industry but also for related industries, and can be used as reference when establishing government support policies related to blockchains.

본 연구는 블록체인 기술의 특성과 가능성을 고려하여 기술 개발, 생태계 조성, 산업 활성화를 위한 구체적인 정책 방향을 제시하고, 이를 통해 블록체인 기술이 국가 경쟁력을 강화하고 지속 가능한 경제 성장에 기여 할 수 있도록 하는 데 목적을 둔다. 블록체인 산업 활성화 방안으로 1) 법과 제도 개선, 2) 투자 환경 확보, 3) 전문인력 양성, 4) 산업 연계, 5) 생태계 조성으로 구분하여 정리하였다. 본 연구는 블록체인 산업 측면에서 산업육성을 위한 정부의 역할에 대해 제언을 통해 블록체인 기술 및 산업에 대한 긍정적인 인식 개선과 기업의 들의 성장을 지원에 기여 할 것이다. 본 연구 결과는 블록체인 산업뿐만 아니라 관련 산업의 정책 수립을 위한 자료이며 블록체인 관련 정부 지원 정책 수립 시에 참고자료로 활용될 수 있다.
