A unique linguistic phenomenon exists in which the phonetics of Archaic Chinese(AC) characters correspond with words in Korean and other Altaic languages, tracing back approximately 2,000-3,000 years. For instance, parallels such as ‘風[*plum]’for [param](Korean for wind) and ‘器[*khrɯds]’for [kïrït] (Korean for bowl) illustrate this link. While some scholars interpret these instances as early borrowings of Chinese characters and sounds, it is arguable that they reflect an ‘Archaic Chinese(AC)-Altaic quasi-cognate lexicon’which originated from the manuscript era rather than simple borrowing. Notably, this ‘Archaic Chinese(AC)-Altaic(Korean) correspondence’emerges systematically within the phonetic radicals of SHUO WEN JIE ZI(說文解字). This paper analyzes and compares the linguistic correspondences within the ‘包 phonetic radicals’from SHUO WEN JIE ZI with related words in Korean-based Altaic languages, identifying three specific types of ‘Archaic Chinese(AC)-Altaic quasi-cognate lexicon’under the 包 radical: 1) ‘[*P(U)R(U)-]/{Round} AC-MK Quasi-Cognate Lexicon’ 包<勹>[*pru](AC-placenta, wrap), 匏[*bruu](AC-gourd), 㯡[*bruu](AC-cover with paint), 炮[*bru/*phru](AC-grill meat whole), 胞[*pru/*phru](AC-placenta), 抱[*buuʔ](AC-embrace), 袌<袍>[*bu](AC-long coat), 䍖[*bu/*phru](AC-car cover net), 緥葆<保褓>[*puuʔ](AC-baby blanket): [poɾogi](MK-baby blanket), [poɾo](MK-skirt). 2) ‘[*PVRV-]/{Expansion} AC-Altaic Quasi-Cognate Lexicon’ 飽[*pruuʔ](AC-full stomach), 泡[*phru](AC-bubble, droplet), 皰[*phruus/ *bruus](AC-bubble, acne): [puɾəna-ta](MK-grow, increase), [puɾot](MK-bubble), [pul-](MK-testicles), [potoɾot](MK-eruption, rash), [por-](K-eruption), [purɯ-] (K-full stomach), [pul-](K-testicles), [buldege(n)](Buriat-testicles), [fulgiyembi] (Manchu-blow), etc. 3) ‘[*P(V)R(V)-]/{Wind} AC-Altaic Quasi-Cognate Lexicon’ 庖 [*bruu](AC-surname related to wind), 鮑[*bruuʔ](AC-wind), 咆[*bruu] (AC-roar), 風 [*plum](AC-wind): [pʌɾʌm](MK-wind), [pïl-](MK-blow), [buriyedemui] (Mongolian-blow a conch), etc.
