The purpose of this study is to investigate the moderating effect of facilitating conditions on the relationship between the use of generative AI, self-efficacy, and intention to continue using it in the independent film production process, which emphasizes creators’ originality and artistry, unlike commercial big-budget film companies. A survey was conducted from December 16 to December 20, 2024, and the hypotheses were tested using regression analysis was carried out on a total of 265 samples using the SPSS statistical program. The results of this study are as follows. First, the use of generative AI(instrumental use, collaborative use), whether instrumental or collaborative was found to significantly impact self-efficacy. Second, self-efficacy had a significant influence on the intention to continue using generative AI. Third, facilitating conditions were identified as a moderating factor in the relationship between self-efficacy and the intention to continue use. Based on these findings, we provided valuable insights into effectively utilizing generative AI for producing high-quality independent films.

본 연구의 목적은 상업적인 대형 영화사와 달리 창작자의 독창성과 예술성을 중시하는 독립영화 제작 과정에서 생성형 AI 활용과 자기효능 감, 지속사용의도 간의 관계에서 촉진조건의 조절 효과를 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2024년 12월 16일부터 12월 20일까지 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 265부의 표본에 대해 SPSS 통계프로그램을 이용하여 실증분석을 진행하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 생성형 AI 활용(도구적 활용, 협력적 활용)은 자기효능감에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자기효능감은 지속사용의도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 자기효능감과 지속이용의도와의 관계에서 촉진조건은 조절 변수 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 완성도 높은 독립영화 창작에 필요한 효과적인 생성형 AI 활용 방안에 대한 유의미한 자료를 제공하였다.
