The purpose of this study is to analyze the spectating types of Daegu FC fans, a professional football citizen club, through Q-methodology analysis. Traditionally, in-game factors have played a significant role in professional sports spectating, but there has been a shift toward out-game factors in recent years. Given this trend, it is necessary to explore how spectators perceive and behave regarding different spectating types. This study employed the Q-method, which is useful for examining subjective perspectives, to analyze the types of spectatorship. As a result of the analysis, four distinct spectating types—NF type, FF type, RP type, and OF type— were identified through 21 Q-statements and 21 P-samples. It was also found that each type exhibited different characteristics and variations in spectating factors.

본 연구의 목적은 Q방법론 분석을 통해 프로축구 시민구단인 대구FC 팬들의 관람요인을 분석하는 것이다. 기존 프로스포츠 경기 관람요인 은 전통적으로 경기 내(in-game) 요소가 많이 작용되었지만 현재는 경기 외(out-game) 요소로 이동하고 있다는 점에서, 관람유형에 대한 인식과 행동 방식을 탐색하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구는 이러한 개인의 주관성 영역을 살펴보는 데 유용한 Q방법론을 활용하여 관람유형에 대해 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 21개의 Q 진술문과 21개의 P표본을 통해 NF유형, FF유형, RP유형, OF유형이라는 4가지 유형을 도출하였으며, 각 유형별 특징과 관람요인의 차이점이 상이한 것을 발견할 수 있었다. 끝부분에서는 이러한 연구결과가 갖는 의미에 대해 심층적인 토론을 제공하고 있다.
