This study aimed to investigate the relationships among career maturity, career engagement, and career decision- making attitudes of dance major students in arts high schools. The research was conducted from September to October 2024, involving 288 dance department students from four arts high schools located in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. To validate the findings, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and correlation analysis were performed. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was employed to assess the fit of the proposed research model. The results indicated statistically significant positive correlations among the factors of career maturity—career determination, career independence, and career compromise—the mediating variable, career engagement, and the dependent variable, career decision-making attitudes, for dance major students in arts high schools.

본 연구는 예술고등학교의 무용전공 학생들의 진로성숙도, 진로선택관여도, 진로선택태도의 관계를 검증하기 위하여 2024년 9월∼2024년 10월까지 서울시와 경기도에 소재한 예술고등학교 4곳의 무용과 학생 288명 을 대상으로 연구를 시행하여 다음과 같은 결과를 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 검증하기 위하여 탐색적 요인 분석과 확인적 요인분석을 실시 하였으며 상관관계 분석을 실시하였다. 연구모형 적합도를 위한 구조방정식을 실시하였다. 예술고등학교 무용전공 학생들의 진로성숙도 요인 중 진로확정도, 진로독립도, 진로타협도, 매개변 인인 진로관여도, 종속변인인 진로선택태도 간의 상관관계가 통계적으로 유의미한 정적인 상관관계를 가진 것 으로 나타났다.
