This study was conducted for the purpose of providing basic data for supporting families with disabilities by exploring factors affecting the caring time and caring burden of families with disabilities. To achieve this purpose, a survey was conducted targeting families of people with disabilities residing in Gwangju, and a total of 300 responses were collected. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS 29.0, employing statistical techniques such as frequency analysis, multiple regression analysis, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The results of the study are as follows. First, the main caregiver of the disabled was the family, and the average caring time was 9.45 hours per weekday and 16.16 hours on weekend and holiday. Second, as a result of the analysis of differences in caring time, there were significant differences in educational background, age, place of residence, and average monthly household income. Third, as a result of analyzing differences in the burden of care for families with disabilities, there were significant differences in age, educational background, number of disabled people in the household, and average monthly household income. Fourth, there was a significant correlation between caring time and caring burden. Based on these results, policies to reduce caring burden for families with disabilities, easing income standards in expanding economic support and providing services, providing customized support for each life cycle, and establishing a family support service delivery system were suggested.

본 연구는 광주광역시 장애인가족의 돌봄시간과 돌봄부담에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색함으로써 광주광역시 장애인가족 지원을 위한 기초자료를 제공하기 위한 목적으 로 실시되었다. 이를 위하여 광주광역시에 거주하고 있는 장애인가족을 대상으로 조사 를 실시하여 총 300부의 설문지를 회수하였다. 수집된 자료는 spss 29.0을 이용해 빈도 분석, 중회귀분석, t-test, 일원배치 분산분석 등을 통해 분석하고 그 결과를 제시하였 다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애인의 주돌봄자는 그 가족으로 돌봄시간은 일 일 평균 평일 9.45시간, 주말 및 공휴일 16.16시간이 할애되었다. 둘째, 돌봄시간에 대 한 차이 분석 결과 학력, 연령, 거주지, 월평균 가구 소득에 있어 유의한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 장애인가족의 돌봄부담에 대한 차이 분석 결과 연령, 학력, 가구 내 장애인 수, 월 평균 가구소득에 있어 유의한 차이가 있었다. 넷째, 돌봄시간과 돌봄부담은 유의한 상 관관계가 있었다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 장애인가족의 돌봄부담 경감을 위한 정책, 경 제적 지원 확대 및 서비스 제공에 있어 소득 기준 완화, 생애주기별 맞춤형 지원 제공, 가족지원서비스 전달 체계 확립 등의 방안을 제시하였다.
