This study reviews the trends in quality of life research in Korea by synthesizing existing trend analysis studies to identify patterns, methodologies, and future directions. A literature search was conducted on review papers related to quality of life in Korean populations, analyzing 14 studies published up to 2024. The majority of studies were from the medical and pharmaceutical sciences (10 studies), followed by the social sciences (2 studies), with no studies found in engineering or the humanities. Health-related quality of life was the primary focus, with research on individuals with disabilities, older adults, and chronic illness patients, as well as studies on forest leisure activities and survey instruments. Continued research and a multidisciplinary approach are crucial, highlighting the need for a specialized academic journal dedicated to quality of life studies in Korea.

이 연구는 선행 동향 분석 논문들을 종합하여 한국에서의 삶의 질 연구 동향을 정리하고, 연구 패턴, 연구 방법, 그리고 후속 연구에 대한 방향성을 탐색하고자 실시되었다. 한국인을 대상으 로 실시된 삶의 질 분야의 리뷰 논문들을 검색하여, 2024년까지 발표된 14편의 연구를 분석하였다. 분석된 연구 중 대부분은 의학 및 약학 분야(10편)였으며, 사회과학 분야는 2편으로 나타났다. 공학 및 인문학 분야에서는 선행 리뷰 연구가 발견되지 않았다. 연구 주제는 건강 관련 삶의 질이 주를 이루었으며, 장애인, 노인, 만성질환자에 대한 연구뿐만 아니라 산림 여가 활동과 조사 도구에 관한 연구도 포함되었다. 끝으로 삶의 질에 대한 지속적인 연구와 다학문적 접근이 필요하며, 한국에서 삶의 질 분야의 연구를 전문적으로 논의할 학술지의 필요성이 제기되었다.
