This study examines the current status and potential evolution of educational programs for elementary school students in the post-pandemic era, with a focus on the Ujong Museum of Art in Boseong, Jeollanam-do. It emphasizes the role of local private art museums as cultural and artistic bridges between communities and schools, providing students with creative learning opportunities. Through a combination of literature review, case analysis, and field research, the study identifies key characteristics of the Ujong Museum's educational programs and outlines directions for their future development. Additionally, it compares exemplary educational programs from Korean art institutions and European museums, including the National Gallery, the Tate Gallery, and the Louvre Museum. Based on these insights, the study proposes practical and innovative strategies to enhance the Ujong Museum's role in delivering meaningful educational experiences. Ultimately, this research highlights the potential of local art museums to meet community cultural needs, collaborate with public education, and promote the advancement of elementary education.

본 연구는 전라남도 보성에 위치한 우종미술관을 중심으로, 펜데믹 이후의 초등학생 대상 교육 프로그램의 변화 현황과 가능성을 탐구한다. 특히, 지역 사립 미술관이 지역사회와 학교의 문화예술적 가교 역할을 수행하고, 학생들에게 창의적 학습 경험을 제공하는 방안을 제시한다. 연구는 문헌 연구, 사례 분석, 현장 연구를 결합하여, 우종미술관 교육 프로그램의 특징과 앞으로의 발전 방향을 구체화하 였다. 국내뿐만 아니라 영국 내셔널 갤러리, 테이트 갤러리, 프랑스 루브르 미술관과 같은 유럽 미술관 사례를 통해 초등학생 대상 교육 프로그램의 우수 사례를 비교 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 우종미술관 이 지역 미술관으로써 학생들에게 실질적이고 창의적인 교육 경험을 제공할 수 있도록 방법을 제안하 고자 했다. 본 연구는 지역 미술관이 공교육과 연계하여 지역사회의 문화적 요구를 충족하고, 초등학생 교육의 실질적 발전을 도모하는 데 기여할 수 있음을 확인하였다.
