This study analyzes the impact of the Neighborhood Art Shop project, which was implemented as part of the Bucheon Cultural City Development Project, on the local art ecosystem and explores strategies for its sustainable development. The Cultural City Development Project was promoted as a key national policy to foster local cultural creativity and build an arts and cultural ecosystem. In line with this initiative, Bucheon has aimed to strengthen the creative capacities of local artists and support the distribution of their works by fostering a citizen-participatory cultural ecosystem. For this study, focus group interviews (FGIs) were conducted with artists who participated in the Neighborhood Art Shop project in 2023 and 2024. The findings indicate that the project significantly contributed to enhancing artists' creative capacities, expanding networking opportunities, establishing artistic identities, and building a cooperative system within the arts industry. Furthermore, key factors for enhancing the sustainability of Neighborhood Art Shops were identified, including strengthening connections with local communities, systematizing the Artlinker program, expanding local creative spaces, and reinforcing collaboration with businesses. This study highlights the potential of Neighborhood Art Shops to serve as comprehensive cultural platforms that revitalize the Local Arts and Cultural ecosystem beyond merely facilitating the distribution of artworks. Based on these findings, strategic recommendations for their sustainable development are presented.

본 연구는 부천시의 문화도시 조성사업의 일환으로 시행된 동네예술상점 사업 이 지역 문화예술생태계에 미친 영향을 분석하고, 향후 지속 가능한 발전 방안을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 문화도시 조성사업은 지역의 문화 창조력 증진과 문화예술생태계 구축을 위한 국가 차원의 핵심 정책으로 추진되었으며, 부천시는 시민 참여형 문화생태계 조성을 통해 지역 예술가의 창작 역량 강화와 작품 유 통 지원에 힘써왔다. 이에 본 연구는 2023년과 2024년에 동네예술상점 사업에 참 여한 예술가들을 대상으로 초점집단면접(FGI)을 실시하여, 본 사업이 예술가의 창 작 역량 강화, 네트워킹 기회 확대, 예술가 정체성 확립, 예술산업 협력 체계 구 축에 영향을 미쳤음을 확인하였다. 또한, 지역 사회와의 연계 강화, 아트링커 (Artlinker) 프로그램의 체계화, 지역 기반 창작 공간 확대, 기업과의 협업 체계 강화 등이 동네예술상점의 지속 가능성을 높이는 핵심 과제로 도출되었다. 본 연 구는 동네예술상점이 단순한 예술작품 유통을 넘어 지역 문화예술생태계 활성화 를 위한 종합적인 문화 플랫폼으로 기능할 가능성을 시사하며, 이를 바탕으로 동 네예술상점의 지속 가능한 발전 방안에 대해 제시하는데 기여하였다.
