Objectives The purpose of this study is to understand the performance flow and characteristics of male wheelchair basketball players at the Paralympics. Methods To achieve this research purpose, 66 games collected at the Tokyo Paralympic Games and the Paris Paralympic Games were studied. The study procedure used SPSS 25.0 version for statistical analysis, and nonparametric statistics were used because the normal distribution was not satisfied. The Mann-Whitney U test was conducted to confirm the difference between the game results and whether or not the tournament was advanced. Statistical verification was set to the significance level p<.05. Results As a result of the study, for the first time, the comparison of the two tournaments according to the results of the game showed 2P%, FT%, and OFF in the winning game, and only TO was different in the losing game. In terms of the difference in whether or not to advance to the tournament, the non-advanced team was 2PM, 2P%, TO, and the advancing team was FT%, OFF, and TO. Conclusions Based on the results of this study, the difference between the Olympics in wheelchair basketball games could be confirmed, and based on the above results, it is hoped that it will be used as meaningful information for leaders in the field.

본 연구의 목적은 패럴림픽 남자 휠체어 농구 선수들의 경기 흐름과 특성을 파악하는 것입니다. 이러 한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 도쿄 패럴림픽과 파리 패럴림픽에서 수집된 66경기를 수집하였다. 연구 절차는 통계 분석을 위해 SPSS 25.0 버전을 사용했으며, 정규 분포가 만족되지 않아 비모수 통계를 진행 하였다. 경기 결과와 토너먼트 진출 여부의 차이를 확인하기 위해 Mann-Whitney U 검정을 실시하였으 며, 통계적 검증은 유의수준 p<.05로 설정했다. 연구 결과, 경기 결과에 따른 두 대회의 비교 결과에서 처음으로 우승 경기에서는 2P, FT, OFF가 나왔고, 패배 경기에서는 TO만 차이가 나타났다. 대회 진출 여부의 차이를 보면 미진출팀은 2PM, 2P% TO, 진출팀은 FT, 오프, TO로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 바 탕으로 휠체어 농구 경기에서 올림픽의 차이를 확인할 수 있었으며, 결과를 바탕으로 현장 지도자들에게 의미 있는 정보로 활용되기를 기대한다.
