This study aims to develop a traditional culture activity program utilizing school autonomous hours to foster aesthetic sensibility competence. Aesthetic sensibility competence is a key capacity that enables students to reflect on the meaning and value of life, understand diverse cultural values, and enjoy them in their daily lives through sub-elements such as cultural literacy, empathy, and cultural imagination. Traditional culture education provides students with effective learning experiences that foster cultural literacy, deepen empathy with the lives and arts of their ancestors, and stimulate imagination. Therefore, it is essential to offer continuous and diverse programs that allow students to experience traditional culture in various ways. In response, this study designed an integrated educational program incorporating traditional music, traditional games, and traditional art activities. Furthermore, the key components of the newly introduced school autonomous hours in the 2022 revised curriculum were analyzed. The program was systematically developed by considering the characteristics and implementation methods of school autonomous hours, selecting activity titles, organizing content frameworks, setting achievement standards, designing learning content, and creating teaching-learning activities and evaluation plans. This study explores the connection between traditional culture and aesthetic sensibility competence, presenting a practical program that can be effectively implemented in educational settings. It is expected to contribute to shaping new directions for traditional culture education.

본 연구는 심미적 감성 역량을 함양하기 위해 학교자율시간을 활용한 전통문화 활동 프로 그램 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 심미적 감성 역량은 문화적 소양, 공감, 문화적 상상력과 같은 하위 요소를 통해 학생들이 삶의 의미와 가치를 성찰하고, 다양한 문화적 가치를 이해하며, 이를 삶 속에서 향유할 수 있도록 돕는 핵심역량이다. 전통문화 교육은 학생들에게 문화적 소양을 배양하고 조상들의 삶과 예술에 공감하며, 상상력을 자극하는 효과적인 학습 경험을 제공한다. 따라서 전통문화를 지속적이고 다양한 방식으로 경험할 수 있는 연속적인 프로그 램이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 전통음악, 전통놀이, 전통미술 활동 등을 포함한 통합적 교육 프로그램을 설계하였다. 또한, 2022 개정 교육과정에 새로 도입되는 학교자율시간의 주 요 내용을 분석하고, 학교자율시간의 성격과 운영 방안을 고려하여 활동명 선정, 내용 체계 조직, 성취기준, 학습 내용 선정 및 조직, 교수-학습 활동 및 평가계획을 체계적으로 개발하 여 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 전통문화와 심미적 감성 역량의 연계성을 탐구하고 실제 교육 현장에서 유용하게 활용될 수 있는 프로그램을 제시함으로써 전통문화 교육의 새로운 방향성을 제안 하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대한다.
