The operating departments of local medical centers have continuously evolved in response to changes in the medical environment and increasing demands for infection control. This study aims to examine changes in the spatial composition of operating departments in local medical centers due to infection control measures, analyze their characteristics, and provide foundational data for operating department planning and design. A literature review was conducted, and 11 case studies of operating departments built at different times were analyzed to derive conclusions regarding spatial types, pathways for clean and semi-clean materials, zoning, and area allocation. The analysis revealed that from the 1980s to the 1990s, a mixed-type spatial layout was prevalent, while from the 2010s to the present, a separated-type layout has become more common. The separated-type layout features a clean corridor that enables infection control by separating the pathways of clean and semi-clean materials. The average gross-to-net area (G/N) ratio for each layout type was found to be higher for the separated type (1.47) than for the mixed type (1.26). The application of a clean corridor for infection control in operating department planning results in the separated type requiring a larger area for circulation space.

지방의료원의 수술부는 의료환경의 변화에 대응하며 감염관리에 대한 요구에 지속적으로 변화를 거듭해 왔다. 본 연구는 지방의료원 수술부에 감염관리에 따른 평면구성 변화를 살펴보고 그 특성을 분석하여 수술부 평 면계획과 설계의 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 기존 문헌고찰과 건립된 시기가 각기 다른 11개의 사례를 조사분석하여 평면유형과 청결물품동선 및 구역 그리고 면적에 대하여 결론을 도출하였다. 조사하여 분석한 결과 1980년대부터 1990년대에 혼합형 평면으로, 2010년부터 현재까지는 분리형 평면으로 변화되어 왔다. 분리형 평면 은 청결물품이 준청결물의 동선과 분리되어 감염관리가 가능한 청결복도가 있다. 총면적대순면적(G/N)비의 유형 별 평균이 분리형(1.47)이 혼합형(1.26)보다 많게 분석되었다. 감염관리를 위한 청결복도를 수술부 평면계획에 적 용한 결과 분리형이 이동공간면적에 많은 면적이 소요된다.
