Plastic surgery addiction in adults has recently emerged as a social problem in Korea. As plastic surgery becomes popular, many people choose plastic surgery for cosmetic purposes. As plastic surgery is repeated excessively, the risk of falling into plastic surgery addiction in adults also increases. If an adult falls into plastic surgery addiction, they are not satisfied even after plastic surgery and continue to modify their appearance. However, even after surgery, psychological problems may increase due to dissatisfaction. This is because the most fundamental psychological problem is not solved. In this study, we study the psychological characteristics of adult plastic addiction. Here, this study attempts to treat weak psychological problems by studying based on Adler's 'Will to Power Theory'. This paper is the result of researching the relevant part of the researcher's doctoral dissertation. It is revealed that it is to conduct further research and presentation with the need for research again. Due to this study, the following problems are discovered. These are the problems of psychological weakness and appearanceism, the problems of appe -arance myth, and the sexual problems of appearance. This is the result of psychological weakness preventing them from recognizing their own strengths. This is because psychological weakness makes them constantly seek improvement in appearance and repeated plastic surgery. Through this study, the following results were obtained by applying the 'will to power'. First, by applying the 'will to power' as an instinctive will, the fundamental driving force of human existence of plastic surgery addicts was obtained. Next, by applying the 'will to power', aggressive power such as safety and development was applied for survival. Finally, by applying the 'will to power', it has energy, that is, power, to overcome imperfections. This study expects adult plastic surgery addicts to improve their weak psychology from plastic surgery addiction or to be released from their weak psychology. This is why Adler's theory has become a way to relieve psycho -logical weakness while improving the psychological weakness of adult-pla -stic addiction.

성인의 성형중독은 최근 한국에서는 사회적인 문제로 부각 되고 있다. 성형수술이 대중화되면서 많은 사람들이 미용을 목적으로 성형을 선택하고 있다. 성형수술이 과 도하게 반복되면서 성인의 성형중독에 빠지게 되는 위험도 증가한다. 성인의 성형중 독에 빠지게 되면 성형수술 후에도 만족하지 못해 지속적으로 외모를 수정하는 추세 이다. 그렇지만 수술 후에도 불만족으로 인해서 심리적인 문제가 증가되기도 한다. 가 장 근본적인 심리적인 문제가 해소되지 않는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 성인의 성형중 독에서 약화된 심리적인 특성을 연구한다. 여기에 본 연구는 아들러의 ‘힘에의 의지 론’에 기대어 연구하면서 허약한 심리적인 문제의 치료를 시도한다.1) 본 연구로 인해 서 다음의 문제를 발견하게 된다. 성형중독의 내면에서 작용하는 심리적인 허약함과 외모주의의 문제, 외모신화의 문제와 외모의 성적인 문제 등이다. 심리적인 약화가 자 신의 자기 자신의 장점을 인정하지 못하도록 작용한 결과이다. 심리적인 허약함은 이 들에게 끊임없는 외모 개선을 추구하게 하면서 성형수술을 반복적으로 하게 만들기 때문이다. 본 연구로 인해서 ‘힘에의 의지론’을 적용해서 다음의 결과를 얻게 되었다. 먼저는 본능적인 의지로서 ‘힘에의 의지’를 적용해서 성형중독자의 인간존재의 근본적 인 동력을 얻게 되었다. 그 다음으로 ‘힘에의 의지’를 적용해서 안전과 발달 등 생존 을 위해 공격적인 힘을 적용한 점이다. 마지막으로 ‘힘에의 의지’를 적용해서 불완전 함을 극복하기 위한 에너지, 즉 힘을 갖게 된 점이다. 본 연구는 성인의 성형중독자가 성형중독에서 허약한 심리를 개선하거나 허약한 심리에서 해방되는 것을 기대하게 된 다. 아들러의 이론이 성인-성형중독의 심리적인 허약함을 개선하면서 심리적인 허약 함을 해소하는 방안이 된 이유이다.
