This study aims to examine the relationships between trauma healing, faith and spirituality, as well as their theological implications, using James E. Loder's Chalcedonian model. To achieve this objective, the study first introduces Loder's Chalcedonian model (II), then presents psychological theories of trauma healing and spiritually-oriented psychotherapy methods from a bottom-up perspective (III), and finally elucidates the theological significance of trauma healing based on Loder's transformational theory from a top-down perspective (IV). In trauma healing, utilizing relational theory, this study reveals that the healing relationship, metaphorically described as a "relational home," can encompass various elements beyond empathy and support, including trauma-sensitive analysis and response, empowerment, information, somatic techniques, clear boundary setting, and interpersonal learning. Furthermore, noting the absence of faith and spirituality dimensions in the relational theory of trauma healing, the study presents various techniques of spiritually-oriented trauma psychotherapy. This section addresses topics such as the relationship between traumatic experiences and faith, assessment of trauma survivors' faith/spiritual experiences, meaning systems and spiritually-oriented meaning-making models, and God images. Finally, employing Loder's transformational theory, this study argues that just as there exists an analogy between the human spirit and the Holy Spirit, there is also an analogous relationship between trauma healing and redemptive transformation. Loder understands human existence through a four-dimensional framework of self-world-void-holy, where trauma can be considered an intensified form of the void. Trauma healing helps restore the secure attachment relationships through therapeutic relationships, reconstruct the past, and liberate energy fixed in trauma for constructive use. Spiritually-oriented psychotherapy, which actively utilizes life meaning and purpose and meaning-making work as well as faith and spiritual experiences and resources, can open the path to redemptive transformation. However, redemptive transformation occurs only when Christ is present within the human personality, resulting in the decentering of the self and the recentering of personality through Christ's presence. Moreover, redemptive transformation signifies Christ's presence and continuous Christomorphic transformation through beholding Christ. In this vein trauma healing should proceed with the goal of facilitating the Holy Spirit's redemptive transformation. This study suggests future research topics focusing on clinical cases to verify trauma healing, redemptive transformation, and Christ's presence.

이 연구는 제임스 로더(James E. Loder)의 칼케돈 모델을 사용해서 트라우마 치유 와 신앙과 영성의 관계 및 그 신학적 의미를 고찰하고자 한다. 이를 위해 이 연구는 먼저 로더의 칼케돈 모델을 소개하고(II), 아래로부터의 관점에서 트라우마 치유에 대 한 심리학 이론과 신앙과 영성을 중요시하는 심리치료 방법을 제시하고(III), 위로부터 의 관점에서 로더의 구속적 변형(redemptive transformation) 이론에 기초해서 트라우마 치유의 신학적 의미를 규명할 것이다(IV). 트라우마 치유에서는 관계 이론(relational theory)을 활용하여 릴레이셔널 홈이라고 비유되는 치유 관계가 공감과 지지뿐만 아 니라 트라우마에 민감한 분석과 대응, 힘 실어주기, 정보제공, 신체 상관적인 기법, 명 확한 경계 맺기, 대인관계 학습 등 다양한 요소를 포함할 수 있다고 밝힌다. 또한 트 라우마 치유의 관계 이론에 신앙과 영성의 차원이 언급되지 않는 것에 주목하고, 영 성 지향적 트라우마 심리치료의 다양한 기법을 제시한다. 여기서는 트라우마 경험과 신앙의 관계, 트라우마 생존자의 신앙/영성 경험 조사, 의미 체계와 영성 지향적 의미 만들기 모델, 하나님 표상 등의 주제를 다루었다. 마지막으로 로더의 구속적 변형 이 론을 활용하여 인간의 영과 성령 사이에 유비 관계가 있듯이, 트라우마 치유와 구속 적 변형 사이에도 유비 관계가 있다고 주장한다. 로더는 인간 실존을 자아-세계-공허-거룩의 4차원적인 구도로 이해하며, 이러한 관점에서 트라우마는 공허의 첨예화된 형태라도 말할 수 있다. 트라우마 치유는 치유 관계를 통해 안정된 애착 관계를 형성 하고 과거를 재구성하고 트라우마로 고착된 에너지를 해방하여 건설적으로 사용할 수 있도록 돕는다. 인생의 의미와 목적, 의미 만들기 작업, 신앙과 영성 경험과 자원을 적극적으로 활용하는 영성 지향적 심리치료는 인간 실존의 4차원적 구도를 활용하여 구속적 변형의 길을 열어줄 수 있다. 그렇지만 구속적 변형은 인간의 인격 안에 그리 스도가 현존하여 자아의 탈중심화 혹은 그리스도의 현존에 따른 인격의 재중심화가 일어날 때 이루어지며, 그리스도가 인격 안에 임재하고 그리스도를 바라보며 그리스 도의 형상으로의 지속적 변형을 의미한다. 이러한 점에서 목회상담에서 트라우마 치 유는 성령의 구속적 변형이 일어나도록 하는 것을 염두에 두고 진행되어야 한다. 이 연구는 앞으로 임상 사례를 중심으로 트라우마 치유, 구속적 변형, 그리스도의 임재 등을 검증하는 후속 연구주제를 제시한다.
