This study explores the design of robot characters in healing animations, focusing on the visual aspects in Wall-E, Big Hero 6, and The Wild Robot. By defining "healing" and its application in animation, the research reveals common design features of robot characters, such as anthropomorphic shapes, large eye designs, and soft color palettes. These elements collectively enhance the characters' approachability and emotional expression. The findings indicate that choosing robots as protagonists effectively conveys healing effects, meeting the audience's needs for emotional solace. Ultimately, this study provides new design insights for animators, aiming to create works that are both healing and commercially successful.
